Raising Awareness in Service of Others !

Our Family embodies the spirit of solidarity and mutual assistance through its constant commitment to others. Karine Mahieu, former representative of the Foire du Trône, founded a new association for this emblematic event in 2018, highlighting her dedication to noble causes.

Under her leadership, the Foire du Trône association has demonstrated exemplary generosity by donating €90,000 to the Rafael Institute. This institution, the leading European center for integrative medicine, provides free support to patients and their caregivers, both during and after the battle against cancer. In 2019, this initiative was renewed with even greater enthusiasm, raising €120,000 to support the Hamster Association and Adicare, which are dedicated to the Development of Innovations in Cardiology.

During the COVID-19 health crisis, Karine Mahieu did not hesitate to act to support hospital staff, offering gestures of comfort in the form of candy distributions. Her empathy and compassion towards those on the front lines in the fight against the pandemic were remarkable.

In 2021, Karine Mahieu and her team took a new direction by creating a new association, VAMA ALC, dedicated to social and solidarity engagement. On February 12, 2024, the association organized a massive distribution to associations supporting the underprivileged. A total of 636 sandwich loaves and 140 kilograms of fries were donated to Resto du Cœur, providing some comfort and hope to those in need.

Promotion of Culture and Diversity!

The VAMA ALC has had the honor of being invited to several projects related to cultural diversity and the organization of events focusing on the duty of remembrance. These invitations are a testament to our ongoing commitment to promoting cultural richness, while raising awareness on issues of history, tolerance, and inclusion. We are proud to actively participate in these initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of intercultural dialogue and reinforcing the values of solidarity and respect in our society.

ECOLOGICAL TRANSITION

The VAMA ALC, aware of the ecological urgency, has decided to take concrete measures to contribute to the transition to a more sustainable way of life. In this regard, we have initiated collaborations with various companies to adapt the needs of the events we support, such as funfairs, to environmentally friendly practices.

This initiative reflects our deep commitment to protecting our planet and our desire to reduce our ecological footprint. We work closely with our partners to introduce sustainable practices in all aspects of these events, ranging from waste management to the use of renewable energy sources, as well as promoting biodegradable and recyclable products.

We firmly believe that every action counts in the fight against climate change, and we are confident that this approach will have a positive impact on the environment and inspire other organizations to follow our example. Together, we can make a significant difference in preserving our planet for future generations.
